About Me

I am a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant with a B.S in Exercise Science, certified in equine rehabilitation, and certified in equine trigger point therapy.

Like any "horse girl" I live and breath horses and have been a "barn rat" since the age of 5.

I began riding and working with horses at a young age because my parents decided they didn't want pets in the house anymore. They decided the next best thing for me was to bring me to a barn close to my house that ran a summer camp (I'd say that was their first mistake). I remember being the first one dropped off and the last one to leave from camp, always helping with barn chores. I have worked at numerous barns over the years as a barn manager, groom, and rider.

I have spent my whole life competing in the hunter, jumper, and equitation world. I have successfully competed in shows all over the East coast, from Vermont to Florida, both rated and non- rated.  More recently I am learning to become a licensed judge for USEF.

I currently own a 15 year old 16.0 hh OTTB mare named Corey who I have had for over 12 years. More recently I purchased Oakley, a 16.2 hh warmblood, as a project horse who turned out to be the best confidence booster!

I currently work full time as a licensed PTA and I enjoy what I do. I love that I am able to help people as much as I do, but I would rather be doing that for horses.
